It's over...

I had to do it. It was too hard to maintain anymore. It's over... I died my hair dark. haha... what'd you think? Ok but seriously... I LOVE the color I had. I mean REALLY REALLY REALLY do. But.. sniff sniff.. it was time. It was too hard to maintain! The roots... arghhh!! So my dilemma was that the only place that could match exactly the color I had was where I got it done. But they cost SOOOOO much (but they did a fabulous job) that I can't afford to go back at this time. SO... I tried once to just have the darkest color (since i had several colors mixed) matched so that atleast it wasn't color then black. atleast it was a brown color that somwhat blended in. But the roots came again and well... it was just time. Plus it's MUCH MUCH lighter on the wallet when you do it yourself. Mind you, I ONLY do it myself if I am going darker so there isn't much room for error. I'm telling you... if I ever become rich, I will have that color for the rest of my life... or else a really long time.

Anyway, it IS the fall season almost winter and going darker is usually the trend right? I don't know. But here it is. (sigh) I have to admit I am missing the old color. :( Oh well. Going darker looks MUCH better that having 4 inch roots! the color I got was an 'espresso brown'. The picture looks like my hair is straight up black. It's a webcam and lighting isn't the greatest. But even then, in person it's still pretty dark.

OH! And might I suggest that you go demi-permanent when it comes to coloring your hair and not permanent. Only because there's no ammonia and way less harsh on your hair. The downside is that it says after 28 shampooing's you will have to do it again. BUT, when the salon did my hair, they used demi permanent and I've shampooed my hair much more than 28 times since then! So... maybe it depends on each person.

So right now I am watching this show on TLC about sleepwalking. Can I say, CRAZY? I mean seriously. You think, oh ok... people who walk in their sleep with their arms straight out in front of them. Really not. But then maybe you've seen or heard from talk shows about people eating in their sleep! Like literally getting up in the middle of the night, going to the kitchen and raiding the fridge but all the while in a deep sleep! Crazy right? It actually gets worse. This show goes into people with major sleepwalking probs. Like, there is the guy that regularly goes fishing right? He catches fish, kills 'em, cleans and guts 'em and all that gross stuff. Well get this. One night he's asleep in bed with his wife. He gets up (sleepwalking) and in his sleep mimicks his everyday job of fishing. Only when it comes time to cut the fish up... his wife is the "fish." HOLY SHIT! YIKES! And when he's done, he cleans up and goes back to bed (not sleep b/c he's BEEN sleeping the whole time). Now is that fucked up or what? Sadly and obviously, his wife died.

Another instance... this lady and her boyfriend had a normal night. Hung out at home, had a couple of drinks, went to bed, had sex and then went to sleep. the girl woke up in the middle of the night to find that her boyfriend was stabbing her in the throat. She fought him off but still suffered 5 stabs but luckily survived. When the cops got there, the boyfriend could only remember the cops cuffing him before he fell sleep. The girlfriend retelling the story was saying that the scary part was that he had a sort of glaze over his eyes like he wasn't there. his eyes were open but he was like a "zombie." She said that as he was being cuffed he saw her and asked, "What happened?" several times and seh kept saying to him, "Look at me, I'm dying. You did this to me." And all he could say was, "what happened?" anyways, they are together today. i'd be freakin scared!!!

One man woke up to fin himself beating his wife. So from then on, before he went to bed, he tied himself to a bedpost so that he wouldn't do it again. He was so upset that he had even hurt his wife. Apparently sleepwalking is hereditary. Thank God I know of no one in my family or Junior's family with that prob!
