3 years

but it feels like yesterday that mom passed away. January 12, 2004. I will never forget that day. My heart just dropped and the tears kept coming. I didn't realize I had cried so much and for so long that day until one of the nurses said they were concerned about me and felt I might dehydrate. I never seen my dad cry so much either. Don't get me wrong, I've accepted it but I will never stop missing them. Her death was a bit of a shocker. For one whole month she fought to live in the hospital and that month was such a rollarcoaster for everyone. First it didn't look good... then it did... then it didn't... but then it did... and then she was gone. I never regret anything because I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. But if I could, I would change some things. All the questions I have now (about marriage, kids, your spouse, buying a home... life) I would ask. I'd definitely take many more pictures with her as I realized I don't have as many as I wish I would. Spend more time with her... definitely.

Last night I had a dream. I was going to a funeral (not hers), it was raining and someone said to me, "Your mom told me all about you. She said they really need you." Not until I awoke did I realize that it's probably a message from her... only I don't know what to think of it. Who's they? Her and my dad? My brothers? The family? And why do they need me? I'm hoping for a part 2 to that dream... hopefully one with some answers.

I miss you and love you Mom... always.

Mom's 3 year death anniversary is this Friday... can't believe it's been 3 years already... seems like yesterday.

Jo Koy!

Yay! So we went to the Improv last night to see Jo Koy and OH MAN!!!! I nearly wet myself he was so freakin' hilarious! AND... I must say I'm a little proud that he's flip! hahaha... I think for a moment our table had our own little show. Good times though. Too bad my cousins and their cousins didn't make the show in time... missed out BIG TIME! I would recommend anyone and everyone to catch his shows. It's a shame his name isn't more out there. I admit I didn't hear of him until he came here, but the world should know he's freakin hilarious! Compliments to Irene for the picture... I left my camera. oops!

10 Year Runion

So I'm surfing the web and I think...Oh... maybe my 10 year class reunion has been posted on Reunion Scoop (www.reunionscoop.com). So I check it out and it has. July 28, 2007 at (drum roll) The Swinging Door in Richmond Texas... WTF?! Yeah. I mean let's not support the damn stigma high schools in Texas already have but hey, let's hold the reunion in a barn! ARGHH!!! I'm so disappointed! I went to the website (www.swingingdoor.com) in hopes that maybe it's not as bad as it sounds but look for yourself. It IS bad!

I mean I still want to go but damn... even prom was in a hotel!! Why not our reunion? Or atleast some decent banquet hall!

Town Center Lighting

My very first MOBILE BLOG! Well Kind of. I took the picture on my phone... later realized that I can "mobile blog" and tried it out and well... it's cool! Now I don't have to go through the process of uploading the pic from my phone first then saving it to my hard drive so I can then add it to my post.

So anyway, Junior and I head to the Sugar Land Towncenter lighting Nov. 30, 2006. We were supposed to meet Kathy, but never found her in the crowd. It was pretty cool! They had performances and even Santa Clause that came down on a zip line from the top of the Marriott down to the stage. The lit the tree (see pic above) but I didn't have my camera on me. So I had to use my camera phone. I know, not the best pic but I had to make do with what I had. Shortly after that there was a little (and I mean a little!) snow falling!!! At first I thought it was all part of the show but no... it was real! But again... VERY LITTLE... not enough to make a difference really. But it was cool!
